Smudge was born in California in 1972, much to the dismay of her older brother.  She currently lives in 
Valencia as she attends her last year of school at the California Institute of the Arts, and hopes to graduate 
with a certificate in Character Animation.  She hopes to have a comic out soon -- CORUS, from MU 
Press, is due out in February of 1997.  Future projects include an animation short entitled STOLEN 
CHILD, based on the Heather Alexander Yeates song by the same name.
